Tough Tex Flags are made from 2-Ply, Spun Woven Polyester Fabric.  

The open weave of this material, which resists high winds, reduces fabric stress for the longest wear of any of our flags.  The Tough Tex Flag is by far the longest lasting flag made!  

The Tough Tex Flag is ideal for the need to fly a larger flag daily and in high wind areas.  These flags are also ideal for all commercial, industrial and institutional uses.  

The Tough Tex United States flags come with a One Year ColorFast Guarantee.  Each flag is manufactured with lock-stitched hems and canvas heading with strong brass grommets. Flags 8′x12′ and larger feature roped headings with a center grommet for secure attachment to your outdoor pole.

Repairs to damaged Tough Tex US Flags  

• Anchor Flag will repair frayed or tattered flag fly ends.  A strict standard for repair consideration exists to maintain the honor that our nation’s flag deserves when being displayed.
• Anchor Flag will repair the fly end hem of a Tough Tex United States Flag provided the resulting length of the top 7 red and white stripes exceeds the length of the flag’s blue star field.
• Anchor Flag will repair appliqued stars only.  Embroidered stars are non-repairable and the flag should be retired.  Send your non-repairable flags to us! Please don’t throw them away. Let us dispose of them properly for you.  We provide retired flags to local Boy Scout Troops and Veteran Legion Posts for official US Flag burning ceremonies.
• Anchor Flag will be unable to rejoin torn seams of the red and white stripes. The length of the tear from the fly end, in conjunction with the relative length of the blue star field will determine if the flag can be cut back sufficiently to repair.
• Anchor Flag will provide a special reinforcement on the finishing of the fly end of Tough Tex US flags. This reinforcement stabilizes the structure of the material on the whipping fly end of an outdoor flag to maximize it’s use, to increase it’s longevity!
